Dear Family, Friends, and Partners:

Let me start by saying that we are incredibly grateful for all the love and support we have received from you this past year. What a year it has been! Throughout 2020, we found ourselves rebuilding in many different areas, and you could say the same for 2021, but overall, God has been so good. The attendance at our annual events was astounding and your care for the FRC certainly showed.

Throughout this past year, we at the FRC have had FAITH for God to do big things at and through our center. I’d say he has done just that! During 2021, to date, we’ve had 335 client visits! Of those visits, 41 were new clients and 17 were pregnancy tests, which in comparison to 2020, is simply wonderful! I say it is wonderful because it’s proof that we are making an impact; it’s proof that your support is making leaps and bounds in the community. We are so thankful that you’ve trusted us to work on the Lord’s behalf to promote a culture of LIFE in the community. We believe that life is a human right, and that God has destined each child for greatness before they’re even conceived: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart” (Jeremiah 1:5). It is because of ALL OF YOU that we have been able to share that passion and belief with our clients.

With that said, please check out this beautiful testimony, showing how your support has had and will continue to have a long-lasting impact on our community:

“I heard about the pregnancy care center in high school. I found out I was pregnant in 9th grade which was 2006 and my counselor had told me it would be a good place to go. I was in 9th grade and I was scared. I went there and they helped me with lots of things from how to take care of my baby and even myself after the birth of my baby. I met a lot of great people there over the years and they were there for me every time I had a baby. I have five girls now. Around the time I had my third child, I met Ms. Vera. By that time I learned all the parenting skills and how to correctly discipline your child and teach them right from wrong. I even did Bible studies there. They help me with clothes and baby items and baby furniture. But the thing I enjoyed most was Ms. Vera’s company. There were days when I went there and we just talked for our session. Those were the best times because I felt like that was the only safe place I could really share everything I was feeling. She helped me through hard times without even knowing it. I can’t thank her enough for helping me through and just giving me that time to just feel like I had someone I could trust when I didn’t trust anyone else. So for pretty much 15 years I’ve been going to the pregnancy care center and I would recommend anyone to go there if you need help or just someone to talk to. I still stop in even if it’s just once or twice a year to say hi. I have five daughters by the way Leah 14 years old, Mia 11 years old, Bricia 9 years old, Selena 7 years old, and Breanna 4 years old. They all have some memories of the pregnancy care center as well. I just want to thank everyone of the pregnancy care center from 2006 to 2021 for all your help!!!” Client, Amber

How awesome that Amber trusted our center back when it was called the Pregnancy Care Center and even today, now the Family Resource Center. It is such a blessing to be able to support young mothers like Amber and provide them with care when it seems no one else will. As Amber said, we provided her with parenting classes, baby items (diapers, wipes, clothing, shoes, food, toys, etc.), peer counseling, and encouragement in her faith, as we have for so many young mothers and fathers.

This is why we are asking for your support once again. In order to provide our clients with the items and services that we do, we need YOU! Would you consider partnering with us financially, so that we can continue to meet the needs of the men and women in our community?

We are praying that as we head into this next year, God will present us with the opportunity to save lives and improve lives, as we Choose Love (“Be devoted to one another in love” Romans 12:10). Together, we are building faith in families. We could not do what we do without YOU! Thank you for your continued support.

Blessings always,
